Blaine The Mono has released another album, their first album only supplied us with two tracks and left us wanting more, finally we don’t need to wait any more. The quality is great, every note and every beat is very easy to hear and the vocals are incredibly clean. They are really bringing back the definition of rock & roll, they deliver high energy songs that build up and up to get you pumped to listen to each song. I absolutely love the trading of vocals, it really changes up every song and keeps from that repetitive feeling. The only thing that bothers me a little is there are a few notes I wish the vocals would hit to maybe build the song more but that’s just my opinion in all honesty. One thing I did notice is that the instrumentation is very held back, and I mean that in a good way. No one is competing with each other, no one is trying to show how good they are, they are all doing what’s best for the song. You can hear this really well throughout a few songs in the album because there a certain points that are obvious these musicians are talented. This is definitely an album I suggest listening to and adding it to your collection.

Preview my favorite song on the album, “Circles” below.
